What we've been up to
The Ladislaus Project
2705 Caniff Ave · Hamtramck, MI
The adaptive reuse of the historic St. Ladislaus Convent into apartments arranged around a central courtyard, with a ground-floor communal office space. Estimated to open in fall/winter 2026, the Ladislaus Project will repurpose a vacant building into 10 loft-style apartments and a hub for small businesses, pairing co-working-style space with business support resources from local nonprofits.

Florian East
At 9350 Jos. Campau we transformed an abandoned storefront into a brewery, taproom and community hub for homegrown arts, culture and exceptional beer. Once known as “the Shoe Building” for the large number of discarded shoe boxes that filled its storefront windows, we saw beyond the mess and focused on the beauty of the speed brick walls, unique rose wallpaper, and arched display windows in completing this satisfying adaptive re-use project.

Residences with historic character
We transform vacant or underutilized spaces into loft-style apartments that we would want to live in. Exposed brick and beams, restored hardwood floors, and polished concrete. Natural light and high ceilings. In unit washers and dryers. Amenities you can walk to. We’re biased, but we think you’ll want to live here too.
